Agnetha Faltskog
Even though she's created her name as a solo performer within Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be best remembered as a member of 'ABBA', one of the most commercially successful and internationally adored pop bands ever. The singer quit school to pursue music when she was fifteen and quickly gained popularity. They signed her to a recording contract with Enghardt. Her debut album topped the Swedish charts. Bjornulvaeus later got married to was her husband and she was a part of ABBA. ABBA was one of the most loved pop groups in the entire world during the eight-year period. The group won gold and Platinum awards around all over the world. Following ABBA's release the group released three albums, namely 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me', 'Eyes of a Woman as well as 'I Stand Alone'. All having enjoyed great acclaim in Sweden as well as gaining popularity in Europe as well but did not make a huge impact in the U.S. In the late '80s, as her career ended her career took an informal retirement. ABBA appeared on a jukebox show called 'Mamma Mia! '. The U.K., 'My Coloring Book" hit number 11. She has received a positive reception to her new album "A.'
